These beautiful virgin cork wall tiles are natural and eco friendly. They will decorate any wall in your home or office. I work directly with cork farmers in Portugal. Portugal produces the best cork in the world. These tiles are individually hand crafted from virgin cork bark, the first stripping of the cork oak trees. The bark tiles are naturally dramatic, rich in texture, warm and as durable as Mother Nature meant bark to be. As with all cork coverings, virgin cork tiles also provide good insulation and acoustical values. They are available in the following sizes:

300mm x 300mm x 24mm in size (approximately 12” x 12” x 1”), 
600mm x 300mm x 24mm in size (approximately 24” x 12” x 1”),
900mm x 600mm x 24mm in size (approximately 36” x 24” x 1”). 

These tiles are attached under high pressure to a flat and smooth cork panel allowing easy mounting on the wall.

Cork has amazing characteristics. It is light weight, rot resistant, non-toxic, good compression and expansion, fire resistant, impermeable, soft, and buoyant. 

Cork bark is “stripped” off the cork oak trees at appropriate intervals without damage to the trees and allows new bark to grow in its place so there is no harm to nature, no trees are cut or destroyed, no disturbance of flora and fauna.

These cork tiles can also be used to decorate the background of terrariums and vivariums. Plants, reptiles and frogs all enjoy a healthy and natural habitat living on, under, or beside cork bark, which is completely non-toxic. I can also supply you rounded or tubed virgin cork bark which provides ideal sleeping, resting and hiding places for all creatures.
