We work directly with local cork farmers in Portugal. Portugal produces the best cork in the World. Our cork items are individually hand crafted. They are naturally dramatic, rich in texture, warm and as durable as Mother Nature meant cork bark to be.
Our 100% natural cork bark products have amazing characteristics. They are rot resistant, non-toxic, fire resistant, impermeable, durable, eco friendly and sustainable.
Cork bark is taken off the cork oak trees at appropriate intervals without damage to the trees and allows new bark to grow in its place so there is no harm to nature, no trees are cut or destroyed, no disturbance of flora and fauna.
All are cork items are locally made and the cork is sourced from local Portuguese cork farmers that work in safe and fair conditions. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect and are paid fairly for their work.
