Caring for Your Cork Fabric
Cork fabric, often called cork leather, is a durable and eco-friendly material made from natural cork bark. It is lightweight, flexible, and easy to maintain.
To clean cork fabric, gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth slightly dampened with water. For deeper cleaning, you can use mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, strong detergents, or abrasive sponges.
Do not machine wash cork fabric or soak it in water. After cleaning, allow it to air dry naturally.
With simple care, cork fabric will remain beautiful, soft, and durable for many years. Its natural texture and sustainable origin make it a perfect material for bags, accessories, and craft projects.
We ship our cork fabric folded to make packaging more efficient and eco-friendly.
Don’t worry — cork fabric is flexible and won’t be damaged by folding.
If you notice any creases, just iron the back side before using:
-
Don’t iron directly on the cork surface.Use medium heat for thin fabrics.
-
For thicker fabrics, use high heat with steam if needed.
-
Ironing helps smooth the fabric and makes cutting or sewing easier.
